POSITION SUMMARY: This technology leader is a critical partner in enabling Thorne strategy planning processes, oversight of strategic technology initiatives that achieve growth while maximizing company performance and long-term shareholder value. The role will influence top leaders and partners to construct integrated technical points-of-view that develop transformational strategic initiatives which ultimately drive the company towards its strategic objectives with an optimal risk profile.
This role will develop processes which align business and technical strategy in a complex and high-growth business. This person will bring a breadth of technical knowledge, strategic portfolio development, and transformation thought leadership, along with well-developed leadership skills. A collaborative, customer obsessed, assertive and energetic technical leader who is passionate about creating value for the enterprise. This leader will be a strong communicator who can facilitate alignment and actively drive success toward the most impactful business strategies.

Leadership and Strategy Responsibilities
• Develops and oversees the execution of enterprise technology standards, processes, and performance metrics to ensure IT is delivering value and sustainability to the business.
• Partners with cross functional leaders to create an enterprise portfolio which is strategically positioned to deliver critical business value in a way that minimizes organizational disruption.
• Researches and evaluates new technology delivery strategies, their implications, and potential outcomes in delivering on the company’s business needs.
• Ensures ongoing alignment between the technical strategy and business goals to include annual planning, budgeting, and prioritization.
• Aligns technology strategy and transformational change in a way that minimizes operational risk. Takes calculated risks where appropriate and supports them with transparent communication.
• Partners with business leaders to align organizational goals with roadmap definition/management, product development process enhancement, governance, and operational integrity
• Familiar with business continuity frameworks and incorporating them into technology and business processes.
• Establishes and oversees appropriate IT operational committees (ITGC, Steering, Audit, etc).
Responsible for program and project management of strategic technology initiatives and is an integral participant in
the company’s Project Management Office.

• Develops, manages, allocates, and governs the annual budget for technology.
• Defines members’ responsibilities and accountabilities. Defines job roles, recruits candidates, and then leads to
expected outcomes.
• Ensures objectives and development plans are established at the start of the year and reviewed continuously throughout the year.
• Continuously engages and improves teams’ performance by conducting recurring meetings, knowing your people, managing career development, and understanding who is at risk.
• Provides and facilitates timely feedback, coaching in the moment, and mentoring for staff at all levels.
• Oversees network architecture and capacity design requirements to ensure that the business needs are met for cloud-
to-cloud connectivity.
• Collaborates with domain-related experts throughout various business units to ensure designs meet established principles.
• Defines and reports key performance indicators to monitor process health; defines and reports customer facing service metrics.
• Conducts system outage analysis to prevent the reoccurrence of incidents.
• Continuous improvement of all services and processes.
• Effectively communicates to executives and business owners as well as system users.

EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES / PROFICIENCIES – Satisfactorily achieving and/or meeting the following Experience, Competencies, and Proficiencies are essential duties of the job:
• Experience and/or Education: Batchelor degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics or equivalent industry experience is required. 10+ years in related experience in complex technology initiatives with a focus on cross- functional leadership, technology strategy development, software delivery, and infrastructure management.
• Experience working with / presenting to company executives. Successful track record in managing development organization with demonstrated thought-leadership, cross-functional influence, and partnership.
• Language Ability: Able to read and understand English at a highly technical and proficient level. Follows instructions, verbal and written, and communicates effectively with supervisor, fellow employees, and sales force. Can communicate professionally, both orally and in writing, with third-party website owners and with the company’s customers.
• Computer and Technical Skills: Able to use the equipment (company-provided laptop computer) and software required to accomplish the responsibilities of the position.
• Experience setting up enterprise portfolio processes aligned to business goals.
• Extensive experience in program management, including experience leading enterprise wide programs.
• Exceptional communication skills both oral and written including executive level.
• Ability to lead effectively through change and eliminate barriers to change.
• Experience leading technology/business transformation initiatives.
• Experience working with remote teams across geographies and time zones.
• Comfortable in presenting to both business and technical executives, exceptional communication skills
